EDUCATION COMMITTEE

VISIT PAID TO HAMILTON

From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Tuesday. Education problems were investigated by the Parliamentary Education Committee which arrived here today. The Hamilton Technical High and the High Schools were inspected by the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, and other members of the party this afternoon, after which evidence was heard on problems affecting the future of the two chief institutions. It had been previously announced that the Hamilton High School Board was opposed to the proposal to unify the control of this school and the Technical School. The committee left for Te Kuiti by train this evening.
