MORRINSVILLE NOTES
A party consisting of Messrs. H. cl. Oates, T. Oates, J. Dickinson, EY Dickinson and A. Bremner, of Morrinsville, visited Taupo during the week-end and spent a most enjoyable time trout fishing. The party caught 20 trout, the heaviest being, nine pounds in weight and the average over seven pounds. Mr. C. B. Sims, after an absence of several years, has returned to Morrinsville and recommenced business. Mr. Sims was 12 years in Morrinsville. * * * Bruce Scott, the seven-year-old son of |Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Scott, of Morrinsville, had a narrow escape from serious injury when he fell from a moving lorry on Saturday. The boy was accompanying his father and members of the Morrinsville 1 ■ cricket team to Waharoa, the team travelling by lorry. When a few miles from Waharoa the boy fell from the lorry and struck the metal road heavily.
