HON. T. M. WILFORD, K.C.

LETTERS PATENT CONFERRED

SUPREME COURT CEREMONY Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The ceremony of calling within the bar the Hon. T. M. Wilford on his receiving letters patent as King’s Counsel took place in the Supreme Court today, the Chief Justice presiding. The Hon. M. Myers said he recognised the appointment of Mr. Wilford as High Commissioner prevented his beginning to exercise the privileges conferred at once, but they hoped to see him back in that place, and that he would have many years of enjoyment in active practice of the honour conferred on him.
