MR. ALLUM REPLIES TO MR. MUNNS
INVITES SUGGESTIONS Further criticism of the Auckland Transport Board by Mr. G. C. Munns, M.P., is answered by the chairman of the board, Mr. J. A. C. Allum. who replies: “I gather from the Press report of the meeting held at Mount Albert on Monday evening that you have ideas which in your opinion would Improve the transport service controlled by the board, and I therefore invite you as a public man to submit your ideas to the board for its consideration. “May I take this opportunity to remind you that by my letter of August 27 last I requested you to pass on to me all the complaints you state you have received from the residents in your electorate, and up to now I have heard nothing further from you in the matter. “1 repeat my invitation for you to supply the board with the necessary information for investigation and any action which may be necessary.”
