ENGLISHMEN’S MATCH WITH QUEENSLAND

The M.C.C. secretary, interviewed, said he could see no reason why Ducat, the Queensland coach, should not be invited, provided Brisbane could release him, to play for the Englishmen against Queensland, if Gilligan finds it necessary to bring in a cricketer in place of one of those who went out.
