PROPRIETOR KICKED AND PUNCHED

ASSISTANT FINED £5 From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A circus hand, Stanley Tew, charged with assaulting George William Webb, circus proprietor, at Ohaupo, was fined £5 in the Hamilton Police Court today. The evidence showed that following an altercation between the wife of accused and Webb, Tew attacked Webb and with the assistance of other men in the show kicked and punched him. Webb was admitted to the hospital with bruises to the spine, back, head and ribs.
