6,000 HORSES BOUGHT
AUSTRALIAN SUPPLIES FOR INDIA
Reed. 10 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. During the past three months nearly G.OOO horses have been purchased in Australia for shipment to India, apart from 300 polo ponies. OPERATION OX PRINCE.—An operation for tonsilitis was performed in London on Friday on the Crown Prince Christian of Denmark, jvlio has been staying with the Danisn Ambassador in London, Count Preben Ferdinand Ahlefeldt-Laurvig. He was stated last evening to be making a good recovery.
