HOWICK TENNIS
A progressive programme was arranged last Saturday by the Howick Tennis Club for prizes presented by Mrs. W. D. Hughes, who also provided afternoon tea and refreshments for players and friends. * A pleasant feature of the afternoon was the large number of new members who were in* attendance. This season’s membership is the largest irr- the history of the club. The prize-winners were.— Men: D. Andrew, 1; ,f. Mclntyre, 2. Ladies: Miss K. Wag Staff, 1; Miss E. White, 2.
