CHEAPER BUTTER
RETAIL PRICE REDUCED A reduction of Id a lb on the retail price for superfine butter, to Is Sd a lb, is announced by Auckland distributors. The new price took effect this morning. Superfine and first, grade factory butter sell at Is Sd a lb; second grade at Is 7d a lb. The reduction is in sympathy with the market overseas. The revised prices will be retrospective to the trade as from Thursday last.
