UDDER TROUBLES
OFTEN DUE TO DIGESTION When a cow. after calving, lias a badly swollen udder, it may in some way he due partly to some slight digestive disorder. A few closes of Epsom salts, on alternate clays Cor :ibout a week, may be beneiieial. It is inadvisable to give a full dose, but soz salts, together with loz bicarbonate of soda and Joz ground ginger in a quart of warm water. The udder should be bathed with water just warm enough to hold the hand in. and then well but gently '•ubbecl with camphorated oil and
