Market This Morning Thu market this morning showed little movement, Commercial Banks, which strengthened yesterday afternoon to sell, as :t result of outside inquiry, at up to 27s Bd. were slightly weaker with sellers at that price support, d by buyers at 27h 4d. New Zeaaruls were also a little easier, with Mors at 60s t>d unsupported. In the loan and agency section GoUlsbrough. Morts, with sellers at 43s • ; d. drew buyers at 42s Dd, at this buy'•iff price the return on the 15 per cent, iividend basis, after subtracting the value of the rights, being approximately £7 5s 3d per cent.
, In coals a seller of Grey Valleys came in at 23s to find support at 26s 3d. This scrip appears fairly strongly held at the moment. Renowns are .steady, with a market in the vicinity of 17s. In the miscellaneous group British Tobaccos are decidedly easier, with sellers at 43s failing to draw support above 43s M. Sellers of Robinson Ice (’reams at 25s 6d drew a buyer at 24s 6d; at the buying price the approxixnate return on investment, based on the 10 per cent, dividend, is slightly ‘ over S per cent.
