LANDING MISHAP
HASTINGS PLANE DAMAGED Press Association HASTINGS. Thursday. W hen the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club’s Spartan plane, piloted by Flight-Lieu-tenant E. Olsen, was landing at Hastings this evening one wing struck the ground, pulling the nose of the machine downward. The machine was damaged to such an extent that repairs will occupy some weeks. The pilot received cuts on the head and one leg.
