DAMAGES AWARDED
MAN CRUSHED BETWEEN MOTOR-CARS 085 AS COMPENSATION Damages amounting to £ 4N5 were awarded by the jury in the Supreme < ouri, yesterday afternoon to Mr. Marry Burton, on his claim for £ !>S 7> against Dove and ( Company, Ltd. Mr. Leary appeared for plaintiff H,u l Hichmoud for the defendant firm. Hie claim arose out of a collision "ii ihe Parnell Road on June t. when burton, who was standing at the rear "i his own motor-car on the roadside, "ns crushed against the carrier by * motor-car. driven by an employee of hove and Company. Ltd., hitting him from behind. Responsibility for the accident was admitted by the defendant firm, which Haimed. however, that the L lot* paid into court was sufficient to compensate him for any injuries ami loss. bi addition to the £BS special *Umages agreed upon between the Parties, the jury awarded £350 gendamages and £SO for loss of profits.
