XZOO FOR BIRKENHEAD FIRE BRIGADE “With every good wish for success in your efforts toward the formation of an efficient brigade.” was the wording of a letter from Mr. J. Newell, manager of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, received at the Birkenhead Council’s meeting last evening, and in which was the announcement that it had been decided to make a donation of <£2oo toward the funds for a fire brigade.
