MARKET'S NORMAL TREND CONTINUED STOCK FiRM SUSPENDED Ucccl. 11 a.m. NEW YORK, Monday. The Stock Exchange gave a further] indication of a return to normal con- j ditions. There was a decline within a comparatively narrow range: but many issues picked up toward the close, and the majority finished above their low levels for the day. Wall Street was pleased with the market’s performance, and looked for a continuation of quiet sessions, with narrow pfice movements, until the list becomes adjusted to the new conditions. Alain interest now centres upon President Hoover’s forthcoming industrial conferences. The first Stock Exchange casualty of the recent crash was recorded when the governors suspended a Providence firm for failure to meet its obligations.
