MR. G. T. PARVIN ELECTED Special to TIJE SUN PL'KEKOIIK, Monday. The ballot of local bodies in the Frankton district to fill the vacancy on the Auckland Hospital Board, caused by the death of Air. J. D. Chalmers, lias resulted in the selection of Air. G. T. Parvin, of Pukekohe. There were three nominees ’tor the position—Air. Parvin. nominated by the borough council: Air. H. P. Garland, i of Aka Aka. nominated by the county j council: and Air. A. H. Tapper, o' ! Tuakau. nominated by the Tuakau ! Town Board. Prior to the votes be- ! ing recorded. AJr. Tapper asked tho Tuakau Town Board to withdraw his I nomination, and the board agreed. The | county clerk gave the result of the ballot as follows:—Mr. Parvin. l“ i votes; Air. Garland, 13: Air.
