Saunders, of . Te Aroha, are on a 1- months’ trip to England, after an absence in New Zealand of 20 years. They intend leaving in January fur the journey back to the Dominion. Airs. Edger and Aliss Rangsford, of Auckland, who have been making an extensive tour of England, Scotland, and the Continent, intended leaving for New Zealand on October 18, travelling via America and Canada. According to a London correspondent, the wedding of Aliss Daphne Myers, youngest daughter of Dr. and Airs. Bernard Myers, formerly of Auckland, to AJ.r. Geoffrey Henry Isaacs, was arranged to take place on October 30 at the Hampstead Synagogue. Rondon. A reception was afterwards to be held at the Mayfair Hotel. TITIRANGI DANCE GAY FANCY DRESSES END OF THE SEASON The final of a series of fortnightly I dances, which have been held throughj out the winter, was given at the Titii rangi Kiosk on Saturday, a very pleasant time being spent. | Some delightful fancy dress cosi fumes were worn, adding bright colour and piquancy to the scene. There were several prizes for com-
petitions, these being won by Alisses Bishop, Newton and Rowell, and Messrs. Abbott and Standish. Air.
