MR. MORTON’S RESIGNATION DISCUSSED At the meeting of the Onehunga Borough. Council last evening. Cr. P. R. Lipscombe asked the Mayor what ; steps were being taken to fill the vacancy on the Transport Board caused i by the reported resignation of Mr. F. s'. Morton. He suggested that the question be diseussed by the council - in-committee. The Mayor. Mr. E. "Morton, who is a. brother of Mr. F. s. Morton, replied mat ; o far the council had received i no official intimation that the latter inn resigned from the Transport Board, and that no action could be taken toward nominating :i Mio-fv-5.,!- | ceived. ” ** '
