THAMES BUILDING SOCIETY
The 22nd yearly meeting of the Thames Co-operative Building Society was held last week, Mr. F. 11. Claxton presiding. The report showed the- receipts for the year to be £5.941 14s id. including subscriptions £ 3,282 7s Gd and redemptions £5,185 15s Gd. Tintotal subscriptions to date amounted to £73.722 10s 9d. The total appropriations with premiums added were £118.564 7s 9d. and the redemptions totalled £ 50.185 ISs lOd. Xo. 1 group has been closed and £416 paid out to shareholders, and £2.140 13s 8d still remains, which is equal to £24 3s Id on the remaining shares. During the evening appropriations were made by ballot. Miss L. Dawson being successful in No. 4 group and Mr. H. Langdon in Xo. 5. The retiring directors, Messrs. .T. AY. Poulgrain. TT. Lowe and D. Mackay, were re-elected unopposed, and Mr. K. Lloyd was reappointed shareholder’s auditor.
