SINGAPORE GO-SLOW
NO PROSPECT OF POLICY BEING MODIFIED MIGRATION AND DEFENCE L'nit', d I*. A.— By Tc icy ru yh—Cop uriy h J Rood. P. 5 u.m. LONDON. Friday. The Australian and Now Zealand Press Association is reliably informed that .there is no prospect of the Government modifying its Singapore policy. U is clearly explained that the Cabinet's plan does not mean a suspension of work, but merely a goslow. It is a parallel to 3\lr. Scullin’s request to slow down migration. Australia should realise that the principle is as fair one way as the oilier, and defence and migration are allied problems. ________________
