ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Institute of Marine and Power Engineers tine.), which has been in session during the whole of the past. week, concluded its deliberations this morning. much valuable work having been accomplished which it. Galloway, president of the ■Wellington hr. i<-h. rendered valuable service throughout the conference, special thanks being tendered him for his assistance. The council officers elected for the ensuing year were:—President. Mr. F W. Carpenter; vice-president, Mr. \Y. !. Galloway; treasurer. Mr. T. E. King, hon. secretary and adviser to council, Mr. XV. J. Galloway; secretary. Mr. W. fcScmmerville. The next meeting of the council will he held at Wellington during November, 1930.
