ULIMAROA AND MARAMA. —The Ulimaroa left Wellington at noon yesterday for Sydney, and the Marama sailed from Sydney at 4 p.m. for Wellington. Both vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning.
LADY LEWIS ANCHORS. The steamer Lady Lewis, which has been discharging raw sugar from Cuba at Chelsea, was moved into the stream this morning to allow the Rona to berth at Chelsea. On Wednesday she will return to the berth to complete discharge. MAKURA REPORTS.— Radio advice received by the Union Company states that the R.M.S. Makura, en route from San Francisco, Papeete, and Rarotonga, is expected to arrive at Wellington at 6 a.m. on Monday. The vessel is scheduled to leave Wellington again at S p.m. on Tuesday for Sydney. DALVEEN’S BERTH. —Due at Auckland about Wednesday next from Galveston, Texas, with sulphur for discharge at Auckland, New Plymouth and Australian ports, the steamer Dalveen has been allotted a berth at the King's Wharf. A. S. Paterson and Company will act as the local agents.

GRETASTON WITH PHOSPHATES. —Advice lias been received by Henderson and Macfarlane that the steamer Gretaston left Ocean Island on November 15 with a full cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland. She is due here about November 27. RON A WITH SUGAR. —With raw sugar for discharge at Chelsea and Sydney, the Colonial Sugar Company’s steamer Rona arrived at Auckland this morning from Suva. Fair weather was experienced for , the voyage. At noon the vessel -was to berth at Chelsea, and next Tuesday evening sails for Sydney. AORANGI DUE MONDAY. —Due at Auckland on Monday morning from Sydney, the Union Company’s Jt.M.M.S. Aorangi will berth about S a.m. at the Prince's Wharf to land her passengers and mails and to load for America. Later ! she returns to the King’s Wharf to complete her overhaul, before resuming ! in the intercolonial service. She is scheduled to leave here at 3 p.m. next Friday for Sydney. KENT REPORTS. —According to a radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the federal steamer Kent is due at Auckland next Tuesday afternoon from Liverpool. She will berth at the Queen’s YY harf to unload the local portion of hex' cargo before proceeding to Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, to complete discharge. She will berth at the Queen's YY r harf to continue loading, and later proceeds to Napier, YVellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to fill up. The vessel is to clear the Otago port finally on November 30 for Southampton and YY’est Coast ports of England, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. PIRI FROM MELBOURNE. —At eight o’clock last night the Nobel Explosive Company’s auxiliary schooner Piri arrived in port from Melbourne, and ; went to the Motuihi powder anchorage. I She left Melbourne for Auckland on ' October 26, and the weather throughout the trip was mostly calm and flukev. She will discharge the local portion of her cargo of explosives at the Motuihi and Tamaki powder anchorages, and the company's other schooner, Huia. at Present at YY'estern YY’harf, is to go down : to her for transhipment of Southern cargo. Both vessels, together with the company’s ketch Miro, are to lighter oxl plosiY'es from the Mahia when she arrives from London in a few days’ time, and will unload same at Southern ports. Captain M.
