THREE BUILDINGS WERE COMPLETELY DESTROYED BY FIRE at Owhango, 16 miles south of Taumarunui, in the early hours of yesterday morning. Starting at the back of the Commercial Hotel, the flames swept through the wooden building and also destroyed an adjoining dwelling and shop. There was no water supply available and the fire, as the photo indicates, burned itself out.
