ARRIVING AT THE CAPITAL.—A snapshot of the enthusiastic welcome accorded Mr. J. H. Scullin, the new Prime Minister of Australia, on his arrival recently at Canberra, the Federal Capital. A huge crowd had assembled at the station, prominent among its members being Mr. E. G. Theodore, the new Treasurer, and other Labour politicians. The Governor-General, Lord Stonehaven, arrived by the same train, but was, apparently, forgotten. He left the station by a side-gate.
