FAREWELL CEREMONY TO THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
V UCKLAND, as a city, will bid farewell to the Governor-Gen-eral, Sir Charles Fergusson, on January 4. Arrangements are already in view by the City Council, which will seek the assistance of other organisations in making the farewell appropriate. The council decided last evening to leave the arrangements to the Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, and the Town Clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham.
