REVERSAL OF FORM IN SECOND LEAGUE TEST
r |' , HE second League test between England and Australia on Saturday produced a remarkable reversal of previous form. In the first test, Australia swamped the Englishmen by brilliant combined play, winning by 31 points to 7. For the second test, no fewer than 10 [ changes were made in the j English team, | and Jonathan Parkin was Parkin brought back to lead the side. By adopting a rather negative system of play and concentrating on bottling up the Australian fliers, the Englishmen won by 9 points to 3, their score including three penalty goals. So far, on the tour, Weissel, the Sydney five-eighth, has been phenomenally successful as a goal-kicker. He had kicked 32 goals up to the second test.
