STRANGE STORY TOLD FOUND W ANDERING IN STRI! T A man ami Ills wilt- were found wandering in Lower Queen Street this morning by the police. They both were behaviug strangely and could give no coherent statement of their bell a v ionr. The couple was taken in charge by the police. Later they were examined by two Auckland doctors and were committed to the Mental Hospital at Avondale. The husband told a rambling story about coming from W'ailii. He said lie remembered getting on to a train with his wife and coming on to Auckland. He also stated that both ho and his wife had been under the influence of a hypnotist.
