TO AID SCHOOL CLINIC

CONCERT AT GLEN EDEN A successful concert in aid of the Glen Eden School Dental Clin-ic was given in the Town llall, Glen Eden. The programme, which was arranged by Mr. Neville Carlsen and given by his ‘“Cosmopolitan Concert Party,” with assisting talent, was greatly appreciated by a large audience. The various acts were helped by ballets arranged by the Misses Beresford. The comedy was done by Mr. Carlsen, who later showed his versatility by appearing in a theme song. Contributing artists were:—Mrs. George Davies, the Misses Jean Cowper, Beatrice Birrell, Molly Kerswill, Jessio McLean, Ruth Mac Ada ms, Ina Corbett, Jean Auger, Jesmond Hiscott and the Misses Beresford’s pupils. Also assisting were Messrs. George Carlsen, George Davies, Neil Elliott, Alfred Evans and the “Nifty Trio.” Miss Eileen Brennan was accompaniste. On behalf of the school committee Mr. ,T. Belcher briefly thanked the performers, Mr. Neville Carlsen responding.
