The whole of the alleyxvavs are - laid xvitli rubber flooring. r| A new feature of the engine-room jis the turbo-electric auxiliary drives 1- : attached to the mainshafts. The turd bines, operated by exhaust steam, t j effect a great economy in fuel and e j also permit an extra knot in speed, 4 : in cases of emergency or delay. The Maloja is being altered sintij larly.
