RAINBOW WEDDING
GEORGETTE AND TULLE GALLAGHER—STACPOOLE j A charming wedding took place at i St. Benedict’s Church recently, when ; Miss Laura Stacpoole, only daughter of Mrs. N. May and the late Mr. P. • Stacpoole. was married to Mr. Noel TT. Gallagher, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Gallagher, of Mount Kden. The Rev'. ; h)ean Murphy was the officiating 1 clergyman. Tho bride, w ho was given away by her brother, Mr. F. Stacpoole. wore ; frock of ivory georgette over pale ! Pink, with an ankle-length skirt. Her : veil was of palest pink tulle, caught at j lho side with clusters of orange bios* som. A shower bouquet of roses and ; carnations was carried. ; In attendance on the bride was Miss j Kitty McKay, who wore a frock of mauve georgette with rainbow trim- | tiling on an uneven hemline. Her bouquet was of pale mauve flowers to tone. Mr. Erwin Gallagher performed the duties of best man. Miss Lorna Jew presiding at tho organ. A reception was afterwards held at Nairn’s rooms, where many guests were received by the bride’s mother, Mrs. Stacpoole. who wore an ensemble of navy and fawn, with a hat to tone.
