Strokes who met in the final of the Schmidt pairs at West End on Saturday were F. Conway and O. Felton. It was a hard race and, starting from the seven seconds mark, Conway thoroughly deserved his victory. Both he and his bow, M. E. Taylor, rowed under 10 stone.
