H. • i McClean presided over delegates repre- j senting seven affiliated clubs. ■ The annual report commented on a deficit on the year’s workings and j suggested that the association could no longer afford to give players the cheapest tennis in the Dominion. The an- ' j nual tournaments had resulted in a I loss of £lO. In view of the losses ! sustained on previous annual balls, : this function was not held last winter. J The report enumerated the winning i the winners in the annual tournai ments. } Officers appointed were as follow: | President, Air. X. Clay; vice-president, I Air. A. K. Vowles; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. P. Wylde; ex< i committee, the president, vice-presi- ; | denr, secretary and the Turua Club’s . I delegate. j As five of the seven affiliated clubs > desired the association’s inter-club i competitions to be played in one com- | plete round instead of by the zone sy -- i as formerly, this change was made.
