SHOTS AT MUSSOLINI
RIFLE FIRED AT WRONG MOTOR-CAR EX OFFICER EXECUTED LONDON, Monday. The Nice correspondent of the “Daily Chronicle” reports that a sixth attempt on the life of the Prime Minister of Italy. Signor Mussolini, was made on October 10. It has been kept secret until now. Three rifle shots were fired at wliat was thought to be the Dace's motorcar in Ostia, 13 miles south-west of Rome. However, Signor Mussolini happened to be travelling in the third car in the procession instead of the second. Nobody was injured by the bullets. Two hundred suspects were quickly arrested. One of them, tlie report says, was a Fascist officer who was recently cashiered. He was shot a few hours later.
