NEW ZEALAND SCOUTS
RETURN FROM JAMBOREE IN ENGLAND SYDNEY, Friday. Thirty-two New Zealand Boy Scouts returned by the liner Orford from the international jamboree in England. They were warmly welcomed on arrival at Sydney yesterday by Mr. R. Bennett, general secretary of the Boy Scouts’ Association here. The boys were entertained at lun-
cheon and then motorea round the harbour and to various beaches and the Zoological Gardens. They were the guests of the management of a theatre at a performance in the evening.
The Scouts sailed by the Ulimaroa today for Wellington. Before their departure they placed a wreath of poppies on the Cenotaph.
