BRANDY STOLEN
SECRETARY AND STEWARD IN COURT HOSPITAL LOSES GALLON Press Association GISBORNE, Friday. Charged with the theft of a gallon of brandy, valued at £3 ss, the property of the Cook Hospital Board, George Lawrence Evans, secretary of the board, and Andrew Stewart Murray, temporary house steward, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today. They pleaded not guilty. After evidence had been heard accused were committed for trial at the Supreme Court.
