GRACEFUL ACT
Photo of “Journey’s End” Company for Author
The Sun’s photograph of the members of the “Journey’s End” company, is now on its way to R. C. Sheriff, the author of this great play. Auckland has fallen under the spell of “Journey’s End,” like the rest of the world and Mr. Sheriff will no doubt be very pleased with the reception which has been accorded his play in this far-away Dominion. The members of the company thought that it would be a graceful act to send Mr. Sheriff a photograph of the company now touring New Zealand. They w#re photographed on the Ulimaroa the morning they arrived in Auckland and the picture was such a good one of each individual that they decided to autograph it and send it to Mr. Sheriff. • This was done and the photograph is now on its way to England. The Auckland season of “Journey’s End” has been a great success and excellent houses have witnessed each performance. This evening the “greatest war play ever written” will be played for the last time in Auckland and the company will continue its tour of New Zealand.
