Mrs. Frankly in White, of New Plymouth, is visiting Auckland and will go on to Rotorua. * - * * Miss Louise Channel, of Mount Eden, left for Sydney yesterday by the Maheno on her way to France. Miss Vera Crowley, of Australia, formerly of Mount Roskill, is visiting her aunt, Mrs. P. Drum, of Manurewa. Miss Hilda Stone, who has been visiting Hamilton and Cambridge, has now to her home in Mount Eden. Mrs. Bollard and her daughter, Mrs. Hunter, have gone to Wellington. They arrived in Auckland this week from a visit to England. * * * Mrs. Templeton, who’ has been staying with her cousin, Mrs. Proud, of .Remuera. has returned to Pukaku Station, Urewera. Wellington visitors to Auckland are Mrs. R. Pearson and Miss J. Pearson. They are staying with Mrs. A. W. Perkins, of Garden Road, Remuera. Miss Aileen Alpen, a graduate of Sydney University, is now lecturer in English literature and philosophy at the University of Cracow, Poland. The Rev. Wilna Constable will address the Women’s Branch of the Labour Party on Thursday next in the Tabernacle Buildings, her subject being “The Youth Movement.”
