GRAMOPHONE RECITAL

ARMISTICE DAY RECALLED For half an hour last evening the audience at the Lewis Eady Hall sat enthralled while a series of gramophone recordings made at the Royal Albert Hall, London, last Armistice Day were reproduced. At the same time slides showing views of the proceedings were projected on to the screen. The atmosphere of the huge gathering was brought to the audience in a remarkably real manner, and It was easy for each listener to imagine himself as part of the vast assembly in the hall. The hymns and every word of the addresses were heard clearly. The usual popular programme was given at 8 p.m. at the close of this special presentation.
