The solid silver Paramount Week "fehield, which is competed for every year by exhibitors throughout New Zealand and Australia, is now held by a theatre manager in Fremantle, Western Australia. The shield is presented each year to the exhibitor or theatre-owner who carries out the most original and effective advertising and exploitation campaign for Paramount week. Paramount, week, 1939. is the ninth annual motion picture celebration of its kind to be held in New Zealand.
