ELLIOTT FOR WELLINGTON

(Special to THE SUN) F. J. Grose, Canterbury's leading cyclist, has intimated to the Wellington Centre of the X.Z.A.A.A. that he intends to compete at the Boxing Day sports meeting to be held in tl?e capital city. A. J. Elliott, the present 100yds and 220yds sprint champion, is also to be a competitor. Malcolm Leadbeater, who, it was hoped, would be returning to the track this season, has declined to take part as a competitor.
