COURT FOR DEVONPORT
MAGISTRATE IS NEEDED NO ACTION THIS YEAR THE SUN’S Parliamentary Reporter PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Thursday. Asked by Mr. A. Harris (Waitemata) if any decision had been made as to the establishment of a magistrate’s court at Devonport, the Minister of Justice, the Hon. T. M. Wilford, said that the Justice Department reported that the court could not be established this year. It was recognised that the district was a growing one. and must have a magistrate soon. Finances would not permit of action being taken this year, however.
