CHILDREN DROWNED
DRAGGED UNDER WATER IN MOTOR-CAR NEW SOUTH WALES TRAGEDY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 10 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Two children, John and Leslie Bradley, were drowned when a motorear got out of control and fell 20ft into the Tambo River, near Metung. Two adults in the car were thrown clear.
A man who witnessed the accident dived under the water and cut the fastenings of the hood, and the bodies of the children came to the surface.
