SAME AS REGENT BEAUMONT SMITH BUSY From, Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. A statement that it is the intention of J. C. Williamson Films, Ltd., to erect a modern theatre in Hamilton shortly on the lines of the Regent, Auckland, was made by Mr. Beaumont Smith, managing director, who is nowhere looking for a suitable site. Last evening the borough council decided upon a draft agreement with the company for a lease of the Town Hall for talkies.
