DUSSELDORF FIEND CLAIMS 19TH VICTIM DEFIES ARMY OF POLICE Reed. aoon. BERLIN. Tuesday. In defiance of an army of police and detectives hunting DusseldovL’ high and low, a mysterious murderer, now known as "Jack the Ripper,” has daimed another victim. A young woman walking on a lonely lane was lassooed from behind. A man sprang at her, flourished a ■agger, then produced a hammer, and struck her several blows. There is no doubt that the present outrage is the nineteenth since the outbreak in April by the same man, because it occurred on the identical spot and the same methods were employed as the first murder of the series. In every case the murderer "as able to escape without leaving clues.
