Banks Peninsula cocksfoot seed was the subject of an urgent question addressed jointly to tlie Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, by Nlr. J. McCombs (Lyttelton), and Nil*. 1-1. S. S. Kyle (Riccarton) in the House of Representatives today. They wanted to know if the Minister would instruct the Agriculture Department to consider the question of the issue of certificates for Banks Peninsula cocksfoot seed in the same manner as for seed wheat. Mr. Forbes answered that he be pleased to go into the question.
