ANOTHER CABLE EXPLODES
An electric cable exploding in front of the Campbell Free Kindergarten, near Victoria Park, shortly before three o’clock yesterday afternoon resuletd in slight damage being done to the pavement. The Auckland Power Board was quickly notified, and within
ten minutes of the explosion the current had been switched off. No one was in the vicinity at the time of the explosion.
