KIRK-WINDEYER CUP
CHRISTCHURCH IN APRIL GOLF COUNCIL MEETS Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Golf Council has elected Mr. M. J. Crombie a member of the appeal committee in place of Mr. H. O. .Balneavis. In view cf the reply from the Australian Golf Union that arrangements be gone on with for the Kirk-Win-deyer Cup, the tournament will be played at Shirley on April 14 to 17. No reply has been received from the Royal and Ancient Club to the inquiry whether it could permit the use of steel-shafted clubs in New Zealand. The only application received so far for the New Zealand championships in 1920 is from Manawatu •
