ART FROM ENGLAND
MURRAY FULLER BRINGING COLLECTION ARRIVING THIS MONTH A magnificent collection of the work of England’s most famous contemporary artists is being brought to Nevy Zealand by Mr. E. Murray Fuller, of Wellington. IT© is due to arrive in New Zealand this month. Mr. Fuller, who has just made his second trip to England in search of good pictures for New Zealand and Australia, knows most of the artists personally and chose his collection from their studios. Before leaving England Mr. Fuller told an interviewer that the English artists have been greatly encouraged by the interest in their work in New Zealand and Australia. Mr. Arnesby Brown, R.A., told Mr. Fuller that he proposed visiting the Dominion next year to do some sketching. Examples of his work arc to be seen in most of the New Zealand galleries. Sir William Orpen, R.A., ftr. Arnesby Brown. R.A., Sir George Clausen, R.A., Sir Herbert Hughes-. Stanton, R.A., Dame Laura Knight, A.R.A., and Mr. Harold Knight, A.R.A.. have all taken a personal interest in Mr. Fuller’s project and are well represented in the collection.
