Car Conversion Charges Arrested last evening at the Ormondville Hotel. Dannevirke, William Stafford Gene Anderson, with several aliases, was remanded this morning to appear at Hastings on a charge of the conversion of a car, the property of Borthwicks. Ltd. Another charge was made against accused of converting, at Wanganui, on October 21, a car belonging to John Quirke, of Taihape. It is understood that there are other charges pending.—P.A.
