RIFLE SHOOTING
AUCKLAND CITY CLUB Members of the Auckland City Rifle Club fired the second round for Mr. J. S. Milne’s trophy on Saturday under fairly good conditions. Shooting was good. the outstanding performance being that of A. J. Pietersen, with 48 at 600yds. Spoons were won by .1 Dunningham, J. E. McLachlan and J. Murray, and trophy points now read as follow: R. C. Russell and J. Dunningham, 3; W. H. Thompson and A. G. Robertson, 2; J. E. McLachlan and A. Sommerville, 1. Scores off the rifle were: A* J.
